BACKGROUND

Hi my name is Jen and I'm a mini-goataholic.  My family and I became involved in breeding Australian Miniature Goats in early 2003.

We recommend that anybody else wanting to become involved in breeding Australian Miniature Goats conduct thorough research on the goats in questions as well as the breeder they are thinking of buying from.  The AMGA Registrar is happy to search through the extensive database for information on individual animals.

Not long after getting our first herd home we found a message on a noticeboard from a gentleman breeding Miniature Goats in the Lamington area of Queensland, who was selling some of his younger animals.  We drove the hour and a half to his place to find a large property with plenty of miniature bred goats running around.

Unfortunately during the herd reduction process we were ill advised from another breeder with regards to which animals to keep and which animals to sell off and have regretted the sale of some very small, well proportioned animals with fantastic temperaments.  Most of the does we have kept though are very good quality Cashmere Does, which we are stoked about and some of which have given us small, friendly kids.
